I'm surprised that I prefer the Ranta chapters. He's a dick but he's so much less wushy washy than the MC that I prefer him as a lead.

I know the main character lacking self confidence is his arc and that's cool, but it's nice to have few breaks from his narrative voice while he gets there.

I liked the SARAI chapter more than I thought, he's so abrasive... the anime paint him more like a stuck up snob, but it's really more complicated than that, he's so prideful and hotblooded...
Also, the doujin part was very funny, that's an book only scene btw, in the anime it's shorter and not that funny because, plot, in the book it's was longer and funnier.

I'm... going to miss all of this next week.

@Paulo27 That's a good way to look at it. I hadn't considered it before but the way you describe Ranta's demon to himself is very much like how he is to the group overall.

As for the deed the demon does for Ranta later on, I admit it is admirable but any more is a potential spoiler so for those who don't know, wait and see.

A great penultimate episode. Definitely sets up for an action packed and emotional finale. I totally want Kirihito to lose too, is that wrong of me?

As someone who watched the anime all I can say is:
You're on a very wild ride, and no, you have no idea how wild this thing is, is like Seira-tan singing "Super Special" atop Digger-kun in a parade made of Nanamis lending you a hand.
The only bad thing in the anime was [redacted], so I really envy you, because when it came, your enjoyment will be better.

This series hasn't been getting put in the release schedule. Not even this chapter, which has already been released.

Just pondering...so if Touya were to die or return to his world while in the unlimited bath, and if everyone else is either in this other dimension or inside of Touya, I wonder what will happen to the other people.

I'm worried about the oath leading to bad things for our hero Will. Guessing we should expect a lot of tragedy. I'm guessing they'll work in some romance with book 2 and beyond (starting a family was a big thing Mary and Will kept mentioning).

How do you even stand up against a god with multiple doppelgangers he can use in place of his actual form? Seems like this struggle against the undead might never end.

Me personally, I'd take stagnated immortality over a mortal life any day. Not being able to eat or drink kind of stinks, but eh, whatever, I can still read books and play games assuming I'm not turned into a ghostly spector.
