Yue have trust issues, but if you are a girl and have her trust, she have no issues having a girl trying to jump into Hajime's pants.

The novel even stated that itself that Hajime have no intentions having a harem of people that Yue doesn't approve of. But Shea only got to be special number 2 because Yue pushed her and Hajime to just do it already.

More like Hajime is the territorial reluctant one. due to betray and trust issues sure.

Aishia is very much the same way. If you are special to Rio, she wants to make Rio find more happiness.

@mortcs That's true, but the manga also spent ages in the first three volumes and only got out of the story's prologue after years.

One advantage to this is that the mangaka for the adaptation has more time planning on how to frame the story, unlike the anime where they're chasing a deadline, but it's also a lot slower.

With that said, the anime isn't that bad imo. Certainly not the ideal anime adaptation I had in mind, but it's not the worst adaptation I've seen.

Agreeing to that. I read up from 1 to 15 in two weeks. I think I strained my eyes a bit ^^

That said, I think it would be more interesting if there were more likable male side characters. Aside from Hayate and Masato (and maybe Rui not so sure about him) all other male side characters are schemers, douchebags or totally creeps.

It's like the whole male cast (excluding antagonists) is just there to make Rio look better.

The most likely conclusion is someone threw the stone into the lake. It's a fairly common trope for sacred objects to be hidden in lakes.

@masterlillyclaw This won't exactly answer your question, but the first 3 volumes are largely the "prologue" (world building, if you will) before the "real meat" of the plot begins with volume 4.

3 will be more of what 2 had (a bit less, at least), but 4 and on will start establishing more of a consistent cast, so while Rio will probably still be super awesome, there won't be as much fawning over him.
