@Kurzaa @Goldendice The parts should not be expired. If you are on the app, then there is a bug where it uses an odd date value that is easily set incorrectly; we've updated that date so that the parts should be readable again.

@travis-butler Yeah same... I have basically the exact opposite opinion ^^
I feel like we've been getting so many "op protagonists go on a carefree journey" in recent year that even the meta/self-aware versions of those stories are starting to feel cliché and overdone.
Whereas, stories where the MC really have to fight against the odds and can be defeated feel vanishingly rare.

But well, at least the fact that we have such opposite opinions is probably a good sign for Min/Max, it shows that the series has a surprisingly broad appeal.

@zeteni I know this is late but I just one shotted this volume overnight and this was EXACTLY what I was expecting. Was actually a bit disappointed when it wasn’t him even as it seemed the perfect set up, with even the zombie skin described as bark like.

But the adventurer was my second guess, and having him wield a Frostmourne equivalent was cool.

Quite a good ending. Looks like Flora was pulling the same trick as Sid and had the situation under more control than she let on the whole time. It's pretty much confirmed now that she's the real villain and is just using Endea for some unknown means. Can now look forward to future volumes showing just how strong she actually is, and possibly who else is working with her that's not been seen yet.
By the way things played out I'm gonna guess Sid ends up saving Endea too at some point and converting her over to the other side.

@lily-garden I forage on the ground for a tasty morsel. After all, that's where truffles are found. (Technically under the ground, but...)

@jpwong I'm so torn on that. I want them both, but know that one has to be written before the other. I honestly can't decide between the two stories, although continuing an arc in progress (Altina) should take precedence over the start of a new arc (Demon Lord).

Volume 9 has some data saying it's volume 7. I was able to change it during import, but it's marked incorrectly.

@kurzaa Oh, in that respect it didn't say much. A golem does appear briefly in the bonus story, but it's not really the focus of the story. The person controlling the golem is called the pilot, but that doesn't really give information as to whether golems are like gundams where someone is inside or if they're the more traditional fantasy golem which someone commands from the outside somewhere either with verbal orders or some sort of shared senses (and frankly the shared senses option seems to make more sense given Allen does that with his summons).

Is this actually the final volume for the series?

The story started with a lot of promise but with every new person or event in the first two volumes, more questions were raised than answered. I suspect the piling up of characters and conflicts without real resolution grew too big for the author to deal with it. Oh well, at least it was only two volumes so there's not too big of a loss in invested interest and feelings for the characters. Guess I'll be putting it on my list titled "Check back in 2025".
