I did some more research right now on Dash X Bunko website and found the volume 05 of the Manga adaptation is going to be released on 09/17/21 so there might be some hope? The story was originally a web novel apparently so they could still take it from there.

I have not been able to find any info if the light novel was cancelled/hiatus or if the author is going to make it a manga series only.

If someone finds something, please share.

The manga for this is good. Wonder how much more detail is in the light novels. Also interested in how much of the web novel the light novel has adapted. Would be cool to get a license.

I'm interested but the lack of it being ongoing or completed at more than 4 volumes doesn't really give me the desire to buy it. JNC has enough stalled/dead series as is.

@Jon-Mitchell I imagine the women/girls are into their own fathers, but because of the main character's skill, that infatuation gets redirected towards him.

I got to be honest this is harem trash. But unlike most harem trash it's enjoyable. It's a guilty pleasure. I would read this. Just...I would never tell anyone that I was reading it.

I honestly would like more R-18 novel licensed but I'm not sure JNC is the right publisher for this kind of thing.

LN volume 6 was released a month ago, albeit with the illustrations now being done by the manga artist

I hadn’t actually opened my copy and Hika Akita still did the cover so I hadn’t noticed.

While this isn’t itself an Isekai, it is in an Isekai world, being a sequel to an Isekai WN with at least one recurrent character. The third in a set of three WNs set in the same world (IIRC set chronologically before this one) got a manga recently, although unusually there is no LN adaptation for that one.

I’ve just glanced the afterword to see if there’s any explanation for the change of artist (none obvious) and it confirms not only that Hanryuu is set 500 years before this story, but that the main characters there are the ancestors of the (pre-reincarnation) main character here.

This just looks too fucking adorable. Upvoted.
