Hmmm I only read the beginning of Ebony Blade but those two are fairly different. Only because we have two female MC and a death god doesn't mean it is a carbon copy. Oh and by the tone of what I read I see Ebony blade more as a happy go lucky kind of thing (I remind that I did not read it fully till now) and you can consider "the Girl who ate a Death God" as dark fantasy.

Seems nice and the art style is beautiful. Please license it.

The series returns from the grave next month with Volume 6!

This is a really good series and after watching the anime i realised there is no manga and the LN's are behind the anime. It's a series definitely worth watching and reading if the LNs ever get translated. I would definitely purchase a LN if one ever gets translated

I would really love to see Maouyuu Maou Yuusha get licensed. I really enjoyed watching the anime, and if I get to relive that enjoyment through the novels, then so be it. Considering how much I liked Log Horizon's LN, I have no doubt I'll enjoy this one too.

People says it has its similarities to Spice and Wolf (which is true), but it also offers something unique to it.

It's a very funny read. I hope it gets picked up.

Yes please. Loved the anime - one of my favorite comedy shows ever - so definitely want the LNs

I think the LN for this one ended / stalled at just the four volumes. Author in the Afterward suggests checking out the web novel.

While not groundbreaking, the anime was nice. I wouldn't say no to the idea of reading the novel.
