Discussion on Discord had me to go my vol 2 epub that I hadn't actually read in full, to grab the best quote of the series so far, only for me to discover it got removed from the final publishing.
I am very saddened that Erich no longer calls Agrippina a "wordy cunt" with the line being changed to
“The fuck you tryna call my sister ‘it’ for, you long-eared, gabby bitch?!”
Personally, I felt it was much better in the previous form, but I understand that editing happens, and these things change.
Second that.
The word bitch gets used so much that it lost all impact.
OTOH, "cunt" has a very strong shock value, so it really helps with getting the MC's state of mind across:
He's mentally and physically exhausted, he was just in a life-or-death battle with a bunch of bandits who kidnapped his sister in order to enslave her("treating her like an object"), and now this unknown person keeps spouting nonsense without any proper explanation, and talking as if his sister is some thing, or at best an animal to dissect and observe?
He's obviously furious beyond reasoning, but at this point, he is completely physically exhausted, so his only way of striking back at her is a verbal lashing.
The word "bitch" is EXTREMELY lacking in this context IMO.
