Not a useless Goddess despite what the MC thinks; she did provide something in exchange that he believed he'd have a hard time getting.
Believed being the operative term, considering that she's doing her best to keep the other deities from learning of him for fear that they too would desire to monopolize him...and she's not that powerful within their pantheon.

It is cute, and remains so for many volumes but unfortunately the repetition eventually made it stale for me by volume 12.

I'd keep going until it starts to bore you, then stop. There's fun to be had, and if you stop at the right time you won't get tired of it. If you eventually start missing it then the later volumes might seem fresh after some time away.

Novels might end up being considered timeless because of world-building, influence, quality, or popularity. So a LN series doesn't necessarily need to invent its own alphabet or write a 2,000-year reference book for its history.

Of LNs that "deserve" to be timeless, the first I thought of was The Faraway Paladin, but that's just saying I really enjoyed it and I thought it was well-written.

The translated prose in TRPG is excellent, but it's hard to guess whether it should be "timeless" since it's a standard story otherwise.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is sweet and fun, I could see it becoming a timeless YA series like Winnie the Pooh is for younger kids.

While I have been waiting for the translation of volume 10, I started a re-reading of UUA and as I see it volume 4, despite some little problems, is one of the best of the entire series: Nive, the Twilight Vampire, and the Earth Dragon (which Rentt said he will defeat in the future) all in one volume.

In particular, the fight with the Earth Dragon will probably be one of the last of the entire series, because as Rentt said: "a Mithril-class adventurer would be able to fight something like this head-on. I suddenly became very aware of just how far away from my goal I was. One day, I would surely defeat this monster. One day... I thought, deeply and solemnly".
So, unfortunately, we have to wait years for that to happen lol. I hope the anime will speed things up with the LN a bit.

I have another theory. Eizo's notoriety has reached the empire. Helen's two "lightning blade" swords were payment along with a cart filled with his elite weapons reached the empire as "payment" for a troublesome area. That is why Marius was notified and the reason why Eizo was involved. The Epilogue goes on to say that the emperor knew about the rebellion but lacked forces to keep it. Rebellion forces were the ones that captured Helen. It looked like they had outside support from the kingdom side (key question is who). They are right. A dead body of a famous mercenary would lead to questions if her body was found in the kingdom side (especially if they knew her lineage). If her body was found during an Empire rebellion, then that would be a different matter.

Helen is the Margrave's illegitimate daughter. Figured since he had an unusual interest in her safety, red hair, and prowess in the battlefield. I would not be surprised if he was giving her jobs, giving her opportunities, directing her activities in the shadows, etc. I view magic as an equalizer (women and men can become powerful, but most nobles will use their bloodline as pawns [doesn't matter the gender]).

I would not be surprised that the "elder" was one of the guards that Eizo helped with their swords and noticed he was killing rebellion troops.

But here is the key thing. Eizo is leveling his skills and is getting stronger along with greater access to mystical metals!

Very belated, but the stories this time around were much better. This time there was much more proactive action on the part of the various characters, both Jessica and Jim. If this is where we end, then we at least ended on a high note.

Daniel Vauxhall - Son of a whisky distiller, had memory of Jessica wiped, for better or worse.

Robert Beck - Hotel manager of haunted castle.

Jeremy Baxter - Victim of Jessica while she was being possessed by a dead murderer. The threshold of getting a date with Jessica is climbing ever higher.

Also, Jim's single again. Though the fact that he wakes people (most importantly, Jessica) up early on Sundays might see him stay that way.

Spanish was used because the raw used Spanish, albeit transliterated into katakana.

Wasn't expecting the Wandering Witch to suddenly show up in the epilogue.

Brutal rejection for Midori, but damn she straight up went and moved the plot forward more in half a novel than anyone else in the previous 7 combined. I think we're 1 volume behind Japan now? It's hard to see there being more than 2 left total tbh, unless were gonna resolve the relationship drama and then just continue on and be all about the game development.

Edit: We're 2 behind actually. Not aware of it being considered complete so I guess the author has found a way to stretch things out despite the apparent streamrollering towards a conclusion.

Hello,

This series currently has 5 volumes released in Japan, Volume 5 having been released earlier this year.

So it is currently ongoing.

@GeorgeMTO and sometimes they even think that releasing in English will take away sales from the Japanese version. Which, to be frank, could happen but not on a scale that would damage the series. Still, we’re always reminded that licensing is done on a per volume basis and all that stuff, so we can only wait patiently.
