      Selling Points

Altina the Sword Princess is a War Series. With Regis who is a genius strategist, this is a series featuring his work to raise Altina from merely a Princess to try and make her the Empress. The world is set at the dawn of an industrial revolution era in which firearms are starting to improve. Another concept I enjoy in this series is development over time. A lot of series tend to have some major event which helps develop the protagonist in one leap. With Altina the Sword Princess, months pass and instead of large leaps, you see the characters grow at a realistic rate which I can really appreciate. The protagonist Regis is heavy bibliophile (I think we can all relate.) while the main heroine is a young princess who's a bit of a muscle brain. The two work really well together with their contrast and make up for each others shortcomings.

So overall, it's both a great series which focuses on warfare, and a great series in realistic development over time. I'd love for it to be licensed.

Big fan. Devoured all the novels one weekend, my only complaint is that there's really no break in the story, it just keeps going on and on and on... so once you catch up, you're still left in the middle of the serial story D:

Worth noting that this series is written by the author of How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord with illustrations by the same artist for The Magic in this Other World is Too Far Behind!

This is definitely "alt history," not "historical" :x

I know, but tag limitations are strict. I've changed it to alt history now.

Aww, it's being dropped by the fan translator?

That really saddens me. :( Makes me to want an official translator more.

They caught up to the most recently-released book. Next book wouldn't be out until next year, so there's a chance they might still work on it anyway :v
