Add another vote from me to get the books from Rightstuf.com. Not only do they have the items and they are easy to find, but they also do a MUCH better job of packing them for shipment. I can't tell you the number of times I've bought books, even EXPENSIVE books off amazon that have arrived loose with no packing in boxes, that I have to send back for being damaged.

That being said, I'd really recomend picking up an ereader in your case. You don't have to get a kindle, I like the Onyx Boox models. They are a bit pricey, but they run android which means they can read just about any ebook and pdf format like those you can get DRM free from jnovel, and still install the kindle or kobo or bookwalker or barnes&noble apps if you have books purchased through those services.

@Kemm-mf Yes it’s long past the campaign and the slacker-backer period. Like I said, extra physical copies, and maybe even the digital versions, will be sold to the usual retailers, though I’m not so sure if they’ll be producing very many extra copies of the drama CDs/Dvds.

That is a bit unfortunate then, though I can understand why if Bookwalker financed it. I was planning on buying the Arifureta series here on J-Novel and still do, but the bonus story in volume 10 is a bit annoying how it is exclusive as it isn't worth getting over J-Novels version (only 1 bonus story versus 6 on J-Novel).

Does anyone know if the Author still has plans to write Volume 13? He is still alive and well?

Just finished this and I absolutely loved it! I especially like how honest she is about her circumstances and the way she described her youth shows a lot of self-reflection. I was very moved when she talked about her difficulties because I think my personality is similar to hers (though I loved school and I'm not as fearful of people).

This isn't an in depth look at the anime industry the way Shirabako is (though it definitely has a lot of insight in the industry just because that's the author's main work). I would say it's more about her relationship with her mother and her journey to find a place where she belongs in the world. The place just happens to be the anime industry.

I really want to watch The Anthem of the Heart now.

@Kalessin to add, Kaiten (new publisher) currently sells DRM-free manga from Overlap and Futabasha so those should be fine. Kodansha occasionally has some Humble Bundles (all DRM-free) so perhaps they may fine with it as well.

I'd check reddit, or the wikia.com or fandom.com community site for smartphone. I'm sure they would exist.

Kindle e-Ink:

Download book from JNC. Run Calibre. Click add book to library. Attach USB cable between PC and Kindle. Click send to device. Device > eject. Done!

Kindle to Fire android tablet:

Uhhh ... sorry. Calibre can convert to kindle format if you want to use the Kindle app instead of an EPUB reader app, but I've never done this. The EPUB apps I checked in the Kindle app store mostly had negative reviews, this is where not having the Google Play store hurts.

You can also use Calibre's built-in ebook reader to read it on the PC.

Also be aware all of these volume have been printed, and ebooks go through an additional QA process for printing that doesn’t always make its way back to the ebooks.
