The actual sub never goes below either 4.95 a month for regular level membership and 10.95 for premium level membership. (You can get a small break if you sub for a full year)
Maybe, just maybe on Black Friday J-Novel Club will have some kind special promotion or discount or something.

It even prorates the amount based on where your current membership billing period is.

I tried to pay for a yearly premium with this code, but I ended up checking out without knowing how to use it at all. Is there a way to apply this discount after the fact? I don't mind paying full price, but obviously I'd rather get the discount I intended to get in the first place.

Same here, tried to upgrade my monthly premium to yearly premium with the coupon code, but could never find any place to type in the coupon code and ended up with a normal yearly premium membership.

I'm sure you saw the post by now, but you have to actually click off your current payment method to enter it. It's below the payment method entry there.
...I couldn't find the coupon code entry on Play Asia during Black Friday, and did the same thing. Dunno if it was inactive for that Black Friday sales holiday, coupons not usable on digital cards, or if I missed a step. xC
