How long would it take normally for a full volume of Grimgar to be translated at weekly pace?

How long would it take normally for a full volume of Grimgar to be translated at weekly pace?
Would like to know if it is worth subscribing for the service when I simply love Grimgar and not sure about the rest of the LN's on the site currently. Also I like reading it on my Kindle. -
I gave in and subscribed for a year >_>
Can't wait for you guys to catch up to the fan translation!
And hopefully some Premium goodies for Grimgar :D -
Glad to have you aboard!
Each volume will be broken into 8 parts.
The target is one volume every eight weeks or roughly every two months. -
Did you find any other worthwhile reads for you yet?
Some of the books look fun. I'm interested in Occultic;Nine.
I spoiled myself on some Grimgar details when I thought it wasn't coming over. xC

@Sean-McCann Hi, I'm new and was just curious if that meant that the next volume would be released 2 months after the previous volume was e-published or 2 months after the last chapter was translated and uploaded?
-
@Bkaa25 8 parts, 1 part per week, 8 weeks. Assuming there's no breaks in the middle, that's a volume every 2 months, ebooks should be 2 months apart too.
-
Well so far we've had at least one week break between volume 1 simulpub completion (although that is potentially due to the holiday) and the start of volume 2.
If we factor in a potential 1-2 week delay between the end of a volume and the start of the next it ends up being about 9-10 weeks a volume. Which is still pretty quick all things considered.
-
@Sean-McCann so in that case, does it mean you guys will reach volume 4 before the end of 2016??
-
@ImIlyaz
Given this is the last month of 2016... Nope!
2017, though? Yes, we'll definitely have volume 4 done before the end of 2017. -
@Sean-McCann omg I'm so sorry! I meant 2017. Finishing it within 2016 would be inhumane hehe

They could always get 8 translators for it at the same time :D and finish the whole thing in 1 month!

You can check here, when the next part will be available:One part a week, but they might take a 1-2 week break between novels, to give the translator time to breathe.

@the-green-death oh Thanks :smile:
Didn't know that, so also thanks for the info xD -
If you like grimgar, give faraway palladin a read as well - it's pretty good.
-
@FMj7411 Unfortunately, since Grimgar is now licensed any other groups that were translating have stopped. Which was around Chapter 7 of Volume 4. So, we all just have to wait around 4 - 6 months until we can get to volume 4.
