The release date for the physical Bookworm Part 4 Volume 3 is listed as 2022-11-07 ( https://j-novel.club/series/ascendance-of-a-bookworm#volume-15 ) but when I went to my local bookstore today to ask about it I was told it will release in December.
I also noticed that the book is not featured in the 'New Physical Releases' section of the homepage.
So I got a bit curious about the release date. Has the book been released already?

@Eleusis Well, this would certainly suggest it hasn't changed...

Rightstuf shipped my copy 10/26 so 11/15 seems right for availability.

There appears to be an issue with the physical releases carousel on the main page of our website. It may take us some time to investigate since we're in full last-minute prep for Anime NYC, but thank you for reporting this!

              Thanks for the replies.
I'll check again with my local bookstore tomorrow.

At least you can get it at your local bookshop, I always have to order it online by Amazon or a bookshop chain. The bookshop chain sometimes just cancel the orders because the book is not available. And Amazon always changes the release date in Europe. The first release stated November 1st, and now it is December 12th to January 14th with 4 changes already. For Part 4 Volume 3.

The official release for this volume was actually November 1st. Amazon US and Rightstuf both confirm that, as JNC’s website physical dates are known to be unreliable. For what it’s worth, I received my copy from Rightstuf on October 17th. Overseas shipments have always been subject to delays, however.

Yeah, after ranting here, it changed today to November 24th. It is understandable, that it is unreliable due to stuff going on in the world right now, but we have that problem here in Europe even before JNC started selling physicals. Getting English books is a pain in the but here.

I'm still sour about them cancelling my bookworm fan book 2 order I placed right after the announcement on Amazon, even though they had it in a week later.

Went to the store again today and it's apparently a problem with the wholesaler. The guy told me that the wholesaler currently lists December 15th for the delivery to the store.

However, this is the first time I'm having trouble with overseas books (ordering from Germany). Usually it takes 10-14 days after the release but when I ask about it, they tell me "it's on the way". It got me curious but it seems I just need to be patient.

Yes, I consider myself very lucky. It's a pretty small store and I had my doubts in the beginning but so far I got everything I wanted and sometimes even cheaper than amazon.

I'm ordering from Germany too, but the only thing I have here is Thalia (they bought every single bookshop in the area) and my favourite comic shop closed several years ago. That dude was so nice, ordering everything you asked for.

But like I mentioned above, this is an ongoing problem with the distributors and the logistics problem ports currently have ain't making it better. So we just can wait. At least for JNC titles, I'm up-to-date with the series I'm getting physicals of.
