A strange and a bit creepy isekai book

If you're ever in the mood for reading an isekai book that's a bit creepy, then try:
Return to No Applause, Only More of the Same.
It's about... well, a hero turned evil who made his way back to earth.
And... gosh... the book isn't creepy like in the way of a horror book, but... when you've finished it... you'll never dream of isekai again. It's... not evil in the way of that guy who's gone crazy and is laughing and killing his former party members. Nope, this is about someone who comes back and wants nothing more than live a normal life.
He even succeeds at this.
And yet... some parts of the story are quite disturbing. You've to read it to believe it. It's only like 1% of the story.
It's the few references that are made to his powers, his belief and his god. It's downright creepy. I wonder how the author came up with that stuff.
The only downside of the book is, that it ends suddenly. It's a very long book and then the end is suddenly appended, like the author was tired of it. It's a shame, but the first 80% is pretty good. -
The sounds a bit like JNC's The Sidekick Never Gets the Girl, Let Alone the Protag’s Sister! which sadly is stalled or canceled :(
