      The blue end card is not loading in properly on the reader for LN parts (it does work on manga parts) in horizontal reader mode. It does work in vertical reader mode.

      This is affecting both Chrome and Firefox.

      The issue has been reported over in the Dahlia in Bloom Vol. 4 Discussion! and myskaros has acknowledged they're aware of the issue. But since having a technical issue discussion inside of a novel discussion is probably both confusing and hard to track I'm just creating this topic in case anyone wants to add any additional findings that might help JNC track down the problem once they've got some time to look into it.

        This is a long-standing issue that affects Firefox at least as well. Basically trying to click on the right side doesn't necessarily work for the last page or so, you need to manually drag the seeker at the bottom to get to the last page depending on how the pagination works out.

          Seconding this. I don't know if it happens in single-page mode but in the two-page spread mode, unless there's an odd number of actual pages, the blue screen doesn't show up unless you do as you said. (Also on Firefox.) It's actually kinda annoying because it makes it more difficult to tell when a release ends, especially for any series which has a habit of cutting off mid-chapter for a week's release. I'm not sure of the exact logistics but, for me at least, I also occasionally get a page setup where the last actual page of text in the release is also unavailable unless you manually drag the page seeker to the end.

          Though the site in general seems to work strangely for me at times anyways. Notifications in particular on the forums are impressively unreliable. I'll read a thread and then come back later only to have the "X people have posted in Y thread" notification to take me far beyond where I actually left off. Makes it an enormous pain to actually keep up on more active threads such as any of the Bookworm ones. There's also issues that seem like they might be caching-related where some pages just don't seem to update my notifications. I usually notice this on the front page. The notifications badge will say I'll have a bunch of notifications and then I click it and there's like two, maybe three.

          @Weasalopes I'm not experiencing it, apparently because I'm using this obscure little browser called Vivaldi, which doesn't seem to be affected (yet, anyway).

          Probably because they take some time to update their Chromium base. Takes time to ensure they're not reverting any of the fixes for some of the extremely moronic design/privacy decisions Google has made. If this is a new issue for people on Chrome that was caused by an update to the Chromium engine, it'll probably show up on other Chromium-based browsers within the next week or two, depending on their update cycle.

            @AliceCheshire
            I just realized I'm not experiencing this with manga pre-pub releases.
            So it has something to do with how you sneak up on the 'last page', I guess.
            And I'd forgotten to mention that I'm viewing in single-page mode.

            This discussion should probably be excised and dumped into a relevant topic...

              So interestingly enough I just tried to load the reader up on Microsoft Edge and the end page loads properly

                Huh.
                Upon reading this I fired up Edge, and still no joy.
                And on Edge it's stock setting for J-Novel; I don't use Edge except for cross-browser error checking such as this.

                  @Weasalopes It's strange, the end page loads up in Edge for me, but only for Dahlia, it won't work for any other series I try and I can't figure out what would make that one be different from the other series.

                  My edge is still the default config since I don't use the browser at all either.
