I was reading "my quiet life in another world as a blacksmith" vol 2 and i was on part 7 when suddenly i was told i didn't have permission to read. I bought the book and even now i do not have permission to read? What did I do wrong or what am i missing?

Edit: i actually can't read anything on the site currently. Not even any of the past books ive already bought? What happened?

Yeah, the first thing you should do if this happens is make sure the site hasn't logged you out. It automatically does so periodically. I haven't timed it, but it seems to be about every 2 weeks for the main site. (The forum doesn't do this.)

Yeah 2 weeks has been my experience as well. Easiest way to tell is to refresh the page you'll see the button in the top corner will change from User to Login

Is buying the epub the same as reading the pre-pub?

I assumed that they weren't connected. So in order to read the book you purchased, you have to download the epub file and open it with an appropriate digital reader.

If you buy the premium e-book you get permanent access to the pre-pubs for the associated volume. Though do note that if you want to read the final retail release with any bonuses/corrections you do need to download the ebook and use your preferred reader.
