I don't see a post yet for this one, please let me know if it already exists.

I really love the series. It was originally picked up by Sol Press, who went out of business last year. If possible, I would love to see the series brought back and continued

This one, along with all of the other Sol Press licensures, are going to be difficult to get. While they may be out of business, we don't know what type of contract that they had with the Japanese Publisher, or the length of said contract. Basically, theses titles are stuck in a legal quagmire that is most likely going to be next to near impossible to navigate.

Now, I'm not saying that it can't be done, but JNC would have to weight the potential "profit vs. loss" of trying to acquire these titles and rescue them. I know it's heartbreaking to the fans, but it is not an easy decision for JNC, or any other publishing company either.

It is the FUNA title that I really enjoy the most.

Looking to the next few years of Ascendance of a Bookworm.

Another problem, as with a lot of other license rescues, is that the people who care most about the series have probably already bought the existing volumes. If there aren’t a lot of remaining untranslated volumes, a rescued series is likely to sell pretty poorly.

...Cats are the proof of a higher purpose to the universe.

I can't do a full check, but a quick peek on NovelUpdates says there are at least six volumes.

Sol only ever published two, so take that how you will.

That would definitely make it a more attractive prospect!
