App chat button no longer works

For about a month now the chat button in the app no longer works.

@myskaros Is the app chat separate from forum chat? Forum chat was shut down last year.

@someoldguy I believe he's talking about the "chat button" i.e. this thing in the screenshot:

This is simply the forum button. Once you get to the forum, there no other chat button, so we would still need more information regardless to troubleshoot whatever the possible issue is.
