It could be a total red herring though. -
@john-collins the problem is that "Shisho" is nominally the protagonist (Fran doesn't even feature for a while in the LNs, although the manga skipped ahead) and I can't make it fit any of the other clues either :(

@shiroi-hane Shes still a protagonist with a "master" sword, but yeah Ive only read a little bit of the light novel so far, so this was my best guess. I do hope its true though regardless. At the very least it fits the clue. And on top of that, at the very least it has a few novels out with an ongoing manga.
Frans shows up in the second chapter of the light novel though. But you are right about the manga skipping ahead.

Haven't seen this work, so can't comment specifically. But.
Issue is if it's simply a deuteragonist who's female, they already have a lot of those, so it's nothing new. :) It has to be the main protagonist for the clue to really have any meaning.

Well heres the KR to Eng translations(LN) if anyones interested(yes its licensed already in KR). Translator at least appears to be decent although its possible minor things got lost in translation somewhere) Pretty sure arts done by the same artist as unbreakable machine doll if anyone cares.

Minding my own business, when my RSS feed notifies me J-Novel uploaded a novel I don't remember them having; How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord!
I actually like this series, and have been following the fan-translation for a while. I wonder though; does the fact that a whole Volume was pushed out at once mean this is an edited version of the fan translation? -
lol, So happy I got it right. It was my top guess for a series to be licensed when Seven Seas licensed the manga, but not the LN.

Hahaha! One catgirl series down one more to go! Well to be honest I'd be surprised if it didn't happen after Seven seas acquired the license. As far as the fan translation at least the early bits are concerned. They were pretty bad, grammar and flow wise. I read the prologue a month ago and it gave me a small headache filling in missing parts of sentences. I'd be surprised if it was.

@tusf It's an entirely new translation and we only released 4 out of 10 parts for volume 1. Plenty left to go!
