JNC's generally the only one who starts releasing pre-pubs right after the announcements though. I think there's some announcements from other companies from last year where I'm still waiting for Vol 1 of the LN to come out, so I'm a little less concerned about other companies new licenses taking up my budget or reading time on a more immediate basis.

@Terrence there were two new licenses. But one of them was for additional material on a series they already have.

Fortunately both licenses are right up to my taste, but I‘m a bit disappointed that they announced only two new licenses and one of them is additional material.

For me the greatest news was the fact that Sam is in Japan for business reasons. Meaning he's probably negotiating new licenses for new series and/or licensing new volumes for current series.

Anyway I'm not surprised that the Bookworm fanbook is liscenced but I kind of didn't expect it to happen so soon. Is it going to be released part by part like any other LN or is something different going to happen given that it's a fanbook?

I'm kinda surprised that Seirei Gensouki didn't have a physical version announced since its also getting an anime.

@Eternal-Wanderer it already has one announced and is coming out next month. Unfortunately it's a 2 volume omnibus though.

I usually always check a few titles from each new batch but this time it's been really disappointing. There's only 1 really new license and then all print announcements.

Yeah it was a bit disappointing, maybe j novel club saw everyone else doing announcements and just went welp guess we should too.

@Terabyte I'm in a sense a little relieved, I'm already reading 20 or 30 series so having 4 or 5 new titles on top of that would be a lot to manage. Yes I would have enjoyed checking out 5 new series but for right now I'm satisfied with 1 new just from a practical standpoint.

That's true too... 😅

A bunch of series will be gone from the schedule soon though (either catching up or ending; Game Club just caught up for example and Combat Baker ends in 3 parts) so I would have had a bit of leeway to check out new ones.
