      Ah yes, the Redo of a Healer knockoff...I actually read it. It's as bad as that sentence sounds.

      Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi (Redo of Healer): WN began in 2016.
      Nidome no Yuusha (The Hero Laughs): WN began in 2015.

      Seems to be the other way around in regard to which came first.

        Interesting. So it wasn't toned down, Redo jacked it up. interesting.

          @poisonedbite This isn't really the place for it probably, but I have this whole theory on the derivative/iterative way plots trend through LNs (and other Japanese pop culture), and that thought sure does resonate with my ideas.

          For a book like that, "What if they're worse?!" is a natural way to change the premise, and would get some attention on Naru to boot.

          Logic is out, Unreasonableness is in!
