Now that volume 4 of The Magician who rose from failure is in pre-pub, it looks like we're going to be caught up with the Japanese volumes once it releases. Does anybody know how long ago Volume 4 released in Japan, or when the series started in Japan? I've been trying to look that up, but I can find next to nothing on the Japanese releases of this series (The searches always just show the English release). All I know is that when I first started reading the series back in April 2021, volume 4 was already out in Japan. So, I'm getting a little worried that it will be a long time before I see volume 5, and that's sad because this is quickly becoming my new favorite series.

      Series I'm Currently reading:

      The Ideal Sponger Life
      Monster Tamer
      Ascendance of a Bookworm
How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom
      Magician Who Rose from Failure
      Seirei Gensouki Spirit Chronicles

Vol. 4 was released on 05/31/2021 and there is still no update on when the next one will be released.

        JNC LN Ranking:
        1st - Rokujouma
        2nd - Realist Hero
        3rd - Bookworm

@bartzbb thanks. That's unfortunate, but it's not so long that it means it's dead already at least.

When looking for this for a J-Novel Club series either go to the series page on the site then search the Japanese name (which is above the English name) with Bookwalker attached after it and one of the first results will send you to the Japanese Bookwalker page, or go to the English Bookwalker page and there should be a link to the Japanese Bookwalker page in the information box (this second method doesn't always work).

Found the site for the WN, and it looks like it's still updating regularly. So maybe they're just waiting for the WN to get so far ahead before the next volume of the LN. Also looks like they're restructuring it a bit from the WN, so that probably takes some time.
