      Synopsis
I am Daisy von Preslaria. Even though I was born in a viscount family that produces excellent magicians, I was the only one in my family that was granted the failure job, Alchemist.

Since this has happened, let’s try studying hard and become independent as a worthy alchemist!

The five-year-old girl resolved and began to make potions by trial and error. Thanks to her Appraisal skill that she secretly possessed, let alone misfortune, the finished product was of high-quality never seen anywhere!

She cultivated medicinal herbs, indulged herself in research, went harvesting, and opened a store.

This is a story of an alchemist living care-freely, sometimes fervently, while being helped by various people (by non-humans too).

      My Thoughts
This is a really fun series that I've been enjoying lately. Unlike most failed jobs series that usually see the main character expelled by either their party or their family, this series does the complete opposite as with the help of her loving parents and family she's allowed to learn and develop her alchemist skills which leads to a number of wholesome and fluffy adventures including a chapter on baking fluffy bread.

Weirdly with this one the English title/subtitle is given as “The Alchemist on the Outskirts of King's Landing” for the LN while the manga went with “A Tale of a Little Alchemist Blessed by the Spirits”.

Given it’s a story about crafting with a cute female lead I’ve naturally got every volume of both.
