I was browsing through YouTube the other day after watching one of Justus R Stone's LN reviews and came across this clip from Gigguk. After watching that I decided to give the anime he was talking about, A Place Further Than the Universe, a shot. I must say that I was impressed with it enough to binge watch it all at once and I think once the blu-ray is released it will be part of my collection. I wonder if there will be an english translation of the manga.

@g That show is absolutely beautiful. It deserves all the praise it gets. Hopefully it will get an English dub one of these days. Also, it’s an original anime, though I didn’t know someone made a manga for it.

I'm watching Serial Experiments Lain. The OP for that one is great. I dig the weirdness of it too (though some of the comments I read below the video have kind of made it a bit less mysterious).

@terrence oh god, I marathoned Lain the night before my first time going to Otakon back in 2005. My group and I felt dead inside by morning. XD

A shame. You seemed an honest man.

Dome x Kano (Domestic Girlfriend) is getting an anime.

The pulse on this seems to be that they're likely to butcher it (since the manga's romance scenes may be a bit much if this is for TV), but we shall see.

For some reason, there seems to be no new episode of Gundam Build Divers this week.

...Sorry. Just a random complaint. I was looking forward to it since the recent episodes have been getting good.

Planet With is super great if anyone's looking for a show to check out :D

Are there any shows this season that require a bit of thinking? Something like Joker Game, perhaps?

As someone that doesn't know anything about badminton, HaneBado must be doing something great to have me as hooked as I am right now. And Harukana Receive is a lot more wholesome than its beach volleyball setting might make you think

Asobi Asobase is HIGHLY recommended for those looking for a great comedy a bit of warning that it goes pretty far (in a good way for me) with its humor. Had me laughing almost all the way through so far, it's great to have another great one like this after Hinamatsuri blew me away last season with it's comedy/drama mix.

I'm still only watching Chio's School Road with the little time I have for anime this past season. Besides some of the weird Kabbadi gal scenes, it's pretty fun.

Still want to watch Magical Girl Site and the Aosobi one mentioned above. Happy Sugar Life was last season too? Gotta catch up.

I don't know too much about Fall season. I can't watch a lot of other ones since they're based on light novels / games I haven't read yet.

Looking at the list quickly, I'll look into:

                            Bloom Into You
                            Zombieland Saga
                            Beelzebub
                            Akenesasu Shoujo
                            Sono Toki, Kanojo wa
                            Release the Space
                            Jingai-san no Yome
                            Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san

There's actually a surprisingly good amount of comedies that don't just look like "cute gals doing cute things", huh?

Currently watching a couple of shows with my daughter on Funimation:
Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits
Snow White with the Red Hair

As Kakuriyo is still being simuldubbed, it's been amusing to watch my daughter rage at the cliff hangers at the end of the episodes 🤣

Actually we finished Keijo recently... And she's wanting to be a Keijo player... At 8 years old... 😂

New season! Here's what I'm planning on watching so far:

                                • Sword Art Online: Alicization
                                • Golden Kamuy
                                • Tokyo Ghoul: re

Others may get added. Suggestions always welcome.

                                Added after review:

                                • Goblin Slayer
                                • That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

If your daughter likes both of those I would suggest you try watching ouron highschool host club with her( also on funimation).

I did some live reaction tweets to my blind watch of the Perfect Blue DVD today. I had read the novel first, so this was very different. Good, but different.

                                    https://twitter.com/GRNKRBY/status/1047513275540406273?s=20

I kind of wish I saw this in theatre. Would have been awesome.

                                    I love (Perfect Blue spoiler)

This upcoming season I'm interested in:

                                      • That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
                                      • Goblin Slayer
                                      • Radiant

Bunny Girl and/or Conception have potential to be the seasonal funny trash show that I watch. I'll probably binge watch Golden Kamuy to catch-up for this season.

I'm also finishing up How NOT To Summon a Demon Lord and MHA3 dubbed. Both have been fantastic. I also finished Overlord yesterday, which was fun. I need to get on reading the LNs again.

@fozzedout I've been interested in watching both of those dubbed. Depending on which shows I stick with, I may pick up one or both.

@Terrence I wanted to see Perfect Blue in theater, but sadly it wasn't playing anywhere close to me. Which is odd, as one of the theaters near me usually gets all of the Gkids and Funimation limited run stuff.

I've only watched Slime so far for the new season, the first episode was pretty good. There's a bunch I'm interested in, which is nice because the last couple seasons I've only interested in two or three shows.
