Hello,
As of right now there is no official date for when for when Volume 17 will start pre-publication on the site.
Volume 17 released recently in Japan, and as such it takes a bit of time to get everything ready to be released.

It varies to a great degree, and with the current state of the world the process is more in flux then ever.
I can recall some turnaround (pre-pandemic) that took about a month after the Japanese release, however (post-pandemic) it has varied to much to say.
Also, Volume 17 will start pre-publication on the site?
Yes, as J-Novel Club does for all of it’s titles, when they Light Novel is ready for release, the translation team breaks it down into a set number of parts, and those parts are released 1 by 1 until the book is completely translated.
This is the pre-publication or prepub part of the release process.
