@tgquan67 read all of mixed bathing in one day, it really is a fun series. definitely would recommend 😁

I'm getting a lot more enjoyment out of White Cat's Revenge than I expected. Also, it feels very weird (in a good way) that they actually allow the story to develop instead of leaving the status quo unchanged the whole time. Misunderstandings get cleared up and problems get addressed...I feel like I should not be as surprised by those facts as I am, but here we are.

I’m strangely addicted to campfire but it’s so repetitive

I was the same way about it for the first few books, but I stopped reading at V4 a while ago. I took this chance to power through to current translation end just to see how the occasional side chapters with the other three heroes turns out. I was pretty thoroughly bored by Mukohda and his familiars by the time I was done.

I'll second the recommendations for Tearmoon and White Cat (admittedly with some reservations about the core relationship there) and am going to read Discommunication myself but don't sleep on Combat Baker. The first couple volumes stick to the general premise of watching the baker who is trying to atone for his past and the mechanical girl who secretly loves him, but once characters are established things ramp up pretty quickly in scale and scope and there is actually a fair amount of lore for the world that has been getting unlocked in more recent volumes.

@myskaros Just caught up to white cat revenge. It’s really good, story moves at a nice pace. Just started Mixed bathing and it’s mehh but I’m only on part 3, I just have a hard time with all the in your face anime tropes. This series is clearly written by a men in need of some release.

I just caught up with Tearmoon, and it's definitely awesome. If you haven't read it yet, do it.

The power of suggestion is impressive. A couple of happy accidents cause the MC to be viewed as a sage and a saint, even though she's really the biggest ditz and internally is a selfish brat. But, because of her reputation, she says really mundane things without having a clue, and everyone expects her to have had some deeper meaning behind it that she's just alluding to, and they beat themselves up inside their heads trying to figure out what it is, and finally come up with some earth shattering conclusion about what they think she really meant, which ends up changing their lives and the lives of those around them in profound ways, thus further cementing her reputation. And it's awesome to watch it play out. The short version is Mia's LUK score is off the charts, and she's just good enough of an actress to play along when people think she did something amazing.
