    Synopsis (taken from novelupdate)
In the prosperous kingdom of Pars lies the Royal Capital of Ecbatana, a city of splendor and wonder, ruled by the undefeated and fearsome King Andragoras. Arslan is the young and curious prince of Pars who, despite his best efforts, doesn’t seem to have what it takes to be a proper king like his father.

At the age of 14, Arslan goes to his first battle and loses everything as the blood-soaked mist of war gives way to scorching flames, bringing him to face the demise of his once glorious kingdom. However, it is Arslan’s destiny to be a ruler, and despite the trials that face him, he must now embark on a journey to reclaim his fallen kingdom.

    My Pitch
The Heroic Legend of Arslan is a modern fantasy epic classic that hearkens back the feeling of oldschool fantasy fiction. It is easy to become swept up in the journey of Arslan and his band of rogues and become invested in his quest to reclaim his kingdom.

I would love to someday read this in English. The story looks more interesting than that of Legend of the Galactic Heroes, but I dislike the art style of the TV anime.

Would love to read this in it's entirety as well. The anime was so good, too. Shame it didn't keep going.

Yes! This! I really would love to read the original Arslan Senki in English!! Heroic Legend of Arslan (90s anime version) was one of my favorite animes as a kid. The newer anime is also good but the original art from the light novels and the 90s anime is so much better than the newer versions. So please release it and with the original art! I'd buy the entire set! 🥰 Although even if the original art can't be a thing just having an official release would be good and I'd just grumble internally about the art. Haha.
