@Carolina-Garcia-buvxdoh Problem would be how big is the fanbase for those. And how it stands with licenses.

I wanted to have a witty signature once I saw some of the ones some guys on the Bookworm forums had but None of the ones I thought felt witty enough...

Is this topic specifically talking about bookworm?

Spanish edition of the comic has started - https://twitter.com/MangAnimeList/status/1299469603328983047

@alfonso_rd_36 I don't think the problem would be that they need a hispanic company which licenses it. As they are selling over the internet there should be no problems, else we would see a region lock.

Problem is more that they licensed those books for an english translation. Every other languages would need the ok of the original license holder and as it would be a new contract would cost JNC even more. I don't recall what Sam once said about how the aquiering of contracts usually goes but normally you give a certain fee to the japanese license holder and a share of the profit (I am speaking how it goes in other fields).

@saskir Actually, Alex from Tentai Books had mentioned on their discord that some JP companies refused to license novels to them for english release because they are based in Spain. So JNC not being a hispanic company can play a role, too.
