Sigh, finally, got back after a year and some change out. For some reason, I am stuck trying to resubscribe. Hopefully my credits still are on file.

They should be, since it's possible to buy books with your credits even if your subscription has expired (though doing so requires contacting someone from JNC as I understand it). It's obviously easier to deal with if you have an active subscription though.

Yes, your credits are tied to your account, so any credits that you had before you cancelled will still be available.
