So what will be the next really bad CGI monster? Probably Mileidis Golems. I am also not looking forward to a bad animated Tio in dragon form.

I was sooooo looking forward to this anime. I thought that after episode 3 that there might have been a little ray of hope out there that they might be getting their act together on this one... and then I watched episode 4. It really is such a shame that it turned out this way. This episode should have been way more dramatic and on the edge but it didn't even try to go there. It's a sad, sad day.

I wish they did a new anime adaptation at this point. The horrible execution at this point set in stone.
I can’t understand why arifureta got this treatment?
Magi’s grandson and Isekai cheat magician got decent adaptation when story wise arifureta much better.

Fifth episode was not as bad as the rest, still full of cringe. Except for the hero group part, that was just lame. They rushed through a lot of things and explained bare minimum.
They also made Hajimes demon eye red... -
@zing Actually it was the fifth episode. But I agree that the hero part was annoying. I also wouldn't have minded to not see the CGI Behemoth again. Also, wasn't his eye supposed to be shining (blue) all the time?
Nearly no explanaition about Ehit, but we got some dumb CGI equipment shown.
I am really wondering how they are going to make it to Tio in the remaining 8 episodes. Maybe they are going to cut some content? I hope the rabbit reformation will be shown.

I think one of the biggest problems for this adaption going forward is they haven't set up a he style to handle the over the top stuff coming up in the next arc.
I had this epiphany when I connected the way Hajime refers to Shia as 'bug rabbit' could be read as "Bugg(s) Bunny". Now imagine Chuck Jones and the rest of the Looney Toons gang animating this series.

You wasted an entire episode on a recap of the first 5 episodes! Are the people that put this together in their right mind!? What in the heck is going on with this series!? I was soooo looking forward to it but they have just absolutely killed all the joy that I was hoping to experience in watching this show! What a fricking mess!!!!! -

While it is a recap episode a the first few minutes serve as a better intro to the series than the first episode.
There is also a good 4th wall break with Shea at the end complaining that Hajime and Yue are late.

Recap episodes are what come out when the anime studio misses deadlines and the episode isn't finished in time.

the anime really is such a joke.
I especiallly hate the Equipment art and how the enemy waiting the hero to attack like an old RPG game battle scene (ATB)and now a recap. they did bad job and still missed deadline?

Episode 6 was so random. But at least no CGI monsters, right, right, right? Everything is good now, right? Omg, this episode, wtf was going in this episode?

Awe man...
They skipped all the best parts of that part of the story. Come on guys! What the heck are you doing!? This is why I believe this should have been a 25 episode anime. Just not enough air time to do a decent job with just 13 episodes. -
Wow, Haltina Woods in speed run mode. Most of the story wasn't expained at all. And from next episode's title were are going straight into Reisen labyrinth next week. So we are going to miss the village too?
On the bright side: At least the two-headed dino wasn't animated!
