Feature request to download the series samples to read later on a device or to read using an external app.
The JNovel app allows reading samples, but the app still needs a lot of work. This would help in the short term until the app is more polished. For example, I need to read using "night" mode and resize the text for my device. If these can be done currently in the app, that wouldn't be so bad.

It can be done in the app.
Tap the top of the screen to get the options:
Tap the moon icon and move the font slider to the right:
Voilà, night mode and larger font.
Whoever said nothing's impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.

If you know some basic coding (perhaps python) you can write a script for doing this. It's very simple as the data is plain html which you can easily convert to epub with calibre which will handle everything. I've done this for my personal needs.
