Definitely looks like Part 2 Volumes 1 and 2, as @hiroto said, yeah. Certain characters look a bit different (less "pop" from the background) than I expected, but I suppose I'll get used to it soon enough.

I wonder if eventually they'll just pile season upon season to continue the books, or if it'll end here with "go read the books for the resolution".

I wouldn’t bet on it because the reason we’re getting this so fast is because both cours were commissioned at the same time, and a complete adaption is a huge undertaking, but if it has done well enough in its job as an advertisement anything is possible.

Well, that pretty much covered whole essence of Part 2 Vol 1 and Vol 2. I'm glad it didn't go any further.

It looks like it will also cover some stuff from the end of Part 1 Vol 3, based on the scene with Gunther drinking and the one with Freida and Elise.

I hope you’re right about it not going further than Part 2 Vol 2. The promotional pictures that have reversi boards in them make me uneasy, though.

They will use 4 books or just 2? Trailer showed almost fist 2 books. Im really confused. In some forums people say this trailer showed 9-10 eps out of 12 eps. If its true , i loved it but still scared. First season was 3 books which is part 1. So i thought this season will be 4 books which is part 2.

We don't know whether it'll cover two or four volumes but if they tried to adapt four in twelves episodes it'd be a mess, especially with them adapting stuff from P1V3 as the person above you pointed out. Personally, I think that if they were going to cover stuff into P2V3 then they'd have at least have shown somebody else in the picture at the end of the trailer like that did with Shikza and Damuel.

@hopebestman Don't know if they'll use just 2 or all 4 books. But I think they'll just use the first 2. Reasons?

The promo just shows content from the first 2.
The opening scene for episode 1 of the first cour showed the ending scene for the second book. Suspect they did that to frame the story between two bookends.

When you watch it till THE END, you'll understand the meaning of the beginning of episode 1.

Meaning that it will end with the Ferdinand's mind dive.

@Philip-h5 I've already given my comments on how good I found the Bookworm dub to be. You generalizing and saying dubs aren't given much thought to their production without having even seen this one is not relevant to the conversation. I don't want this to become another subs vs dubs argument which has been debated to death for decades, so please keep it Bookworm related.

This series looks as though a lot of people will have long term emotional investment in it. I'm excited to see how big it will get.

Oh damn, you are right... didn't catch that on first viewing. That's some legit thought on their part in animating it that way.

So the episode 14.5 is up on Crunchyroll and they rolled with Eckhard for エックハルト which is close enough to quof's Eckehard but too bad it's not the same, and Eustachius for ユストクス which... has shocked me.

I have a horrible ear for these things but is the same true for how his name is pronounced in CD Drama 4? If you don't have it you can hear his name in the 5th preview of it on the official website.

I have a question. IF that grey hair dude is really wants to met with Myne(strange girl do weird stuff) , why we didnt heard anything about him yet? Hmm? Hmm?

:) Anyway :) the only problem i can find is Benno when he met with Tulli and Effa. He had to be all smile and nice before bussiness talking but i didnt sence that. Although i am not this anime's follower so im not quite sure but Benno is generaly serious but when dealing with strangers first time he has to be kind and smiling etc. Right?
