Same reason Sam licenses stuff with only a single volume out so far. The license itself is probably cheap.

I've seen a lot of Micro Magazine titles being licensed lately.

MicroMagazine is making a big push this year to dump as much of their catalogue as possible onto the western market. (Regardless of publication status) They've gotten a taste of that foreign money from stuff like Tensei Slime and they want more.

It's a new series by the author of Defeating the Demon Lord’s a Cinch (If You’ve Got a Ringer) so I'm happy, but SOL Press... Well, at least vol.1 will be this year (probably):

I'm sooooo happy for Apothecary Diaries. I have been asking and wishing and hoping for it for a long time. I'm also super excited for more rom-coms, and Sponger Life has the politics I've been longing for more of too. All in all, best licensing event for me in a long time. You guys are the best!

Gonna be reading all of these. Especially the romcoms. Imouza priority number 1.

Choppiri (27 yr old JK) one I will likely buy to support getting more from the author as they are a lover of older heroines (Mama Ga Sukinano, Hero and Maid Oneesans one, and Senpai dating one). Nozomi Kota is really good at their craft (good at knowing when to drop a gag, and how much progress to make you feel like you got your monies worth with a book, at least with volume 1 of Mama; I was surprised how much perspective the mom got in that one too, basically most of the book from her point of view).
