          @doublemangekyo

          Was the Genius Prince one an LN or manga adaptation?

            Only LN (The title is pretty new, actually; so I don't think it has manga adaptation to begin with.)

                        @doublemangekyo Guess its time to put my money where my mouth is. 12 Volumes of FMP! for original series; and 1 year premium gives you 12 premium credits, that should add up.

                            @strykeanjel Given that most volumes take 8 weeks to translate with two weeks between volumes, you should find yourself with a few extra credits by the time FMP is fully translated.

                              Also, if all you're getting is those 12 credits and you don't care about any other series, then a year of premium probably isn't worth it. FMP probably won't have any game-changing premium bonuses, so getting the ebooks from other vendors would probably save you a bunch of money (but hey, if you're willing to give J-Novel more money then please do heh).

                                  Actually, premium is cheaper in the long run if you subscribe for a month and stock up on credits. FMP's 12 volumes would cost up to $76.95.

                                    @doublemangekyo Oh buying all in one month is a much smarter idea, I agree. In fact, you get a free credit immediately on signing up, so idk if you considered that in your calculation, so it would even be cheaper than buying retail. The only problem would be redeeming the credits while not a member, but there are of course ways of getting around that.

                                      @legitpancake Yeah, the "free" credit was part of my calculations.
                                      But tbh, there aren't really any free credits. The monthly premium costs 10.95, which is just the normal membership's $4.95 + the $6 price of 1 premium credit.
                                      Looking at it another way, buying premium is basically pre-ordering 1 or 12 credits when you sign up.

                                      EDIT: No free credits apart from the extra one you get the very first time you sign up for premium. My mistake.

                                        @doublemangekyo No, when you sign up the first time for premium you get a free credit which is separate from the 12 monthly ones you get later on. So 13 credits in total.

                                        If you buy a single premium month you get 2 credits (1 right away and 1 on the 15th of the month); at that point you'd need to buy only other 10 credits instead of 11. That makes the total $70.95.

                                          @terabyte Sure, but that only counts for the first time you get a premium membership. Any subsequent subscription doesn't include that extra (truly free) credit.
