Kindle Page Flip

I am not sure if having Page Flip is a feature Amazon does itself, or if the publisher has to choose to enabke it.

If the latter is it possible to for J-Novel Club Books on Amazon to get the Page Flip feature?

@Rahul-Balaggan I'm pretty sure our books are all compatible with page flip as long as your kindle itself is (I think it has to be second generation or better).

It's not something we have control over, I'm pretty sure?

@Sam-Pinansky I see, I am actually using the kindle app on my iPhone.

It seems to work for all my Yen On purchases just not for J-Novel Club.

I haven't tried it on an actual Kindle however on the iPhone app, android app and iPad app I can say it does not.

The store page also states it's not in affect.

which entry in product details are you talking about, "Enhanced Typesetting"? I don't see a "Page Flip" setting listed.

@Sam-Pinansky if you are on the full site it's not listed in product details.

Slow the price, below the summery, there is a small section information about the Kindle edition.

If I am looking at Danmachi Vol 1 it says Length: 218 Pages, Word Wise: Enabled, Enhanced Typesetting Enabled, Page Flip Enabled

However in that same section if I look at any J-Novel release it just has page count and Word Wise Enabled.

If you are looking on the mobile site it's easier to see the difference there is a section labeled "About The Kindle Edition"

@Rahul-Balaggan Okay, I can't seem to find any information about how to implement Page Flip compatibility on my side... As far as I can tell it's something Amazon does automatically when they feel like it?
I'll see if they respond to a tech support inquiry.

@Rahul-Balaggan So I got the response I figured I would get from Amazon:

"We are working to enable page flip in as many books as we can! You'll be notified when your books are enable."

In other words Amazon will do it when they feel like it, if they feel like it. Has nothing to do with us at all.
