I don't know if this one's been posted, but it's a pretty decent article that helps to explain what the LN industry is to those unaware (equates it to YA Novels and their appeal), how big it is in Japan, and the prospects of them breaking out somewhat here with reference to the growing anime scene stateside.

Ignore the hyperbole in the title and web link address title for the article though (specifically "Can This American Disrupt Japan's $392M Young Adult Novel Industry?"; disrupt doesn't sound like a positive term to me, despite understanding that they probably mean show there's fans to cater to and money to be made here, but ah well). xP
