Add a "Volume X End" to the last chapter of each volume
-
Some volumes will have afterwords or "final chapter"s but some won't and not all volumes have a equal amount of parts.
Another suggestion would be to just mention if the volume is completed or not on the series' page. -
@Paulo27 A volume will 75% of the time be divided in 8 parts. So when the 8th part comes out you'll know the volume is done (unless it's mentioned that a series will have more than 8 parts).
-
Another way would be to just call the last part "last part" instead of part 8.
FYI as for the afterwords sometimes we include them in the prepub, sometimes we are leaving them just for the ebook version. Depends on the translator.

I actually second this idea of adding some sort of note to signify the last part of the volume. Sure most of the volumes follow an 8 part per volume schedule, but there are some exceptions. Any potentially new customers may not know right away so it would be good to identify when the final part is coming out.

Yeah I actually thought I'd finished siskan when part 8 came out and it just had an abrupt ending!
-
@the-green-death I originally planned 8 but I felt that 9 was better and I needed an extra week.
I'm the boss so I can make exceptions for myself!

@Sam-Pinansky If you don't get any benefits why be boss? ;)

This sounds good too.

... or since some volumes have more than 8 parts. Using "Part 8 - Final Part" seems better (or number of part that it finishes). And if we don't see "Final Part" (or other word) written we assume that the volume is still being translated since is still not finished.
Cause i do think that it's needed to point out which part it ends.I gave a bit of more thought. So if we leave a space between the last part of a volume and the 1st part of the next volume.
At the moment is like this:
And i was thinking something like this:
... also if the volume is still on-going. Leave that blue thing and write on-going. Another Example:
So i just wanted to leave some suggestions. But to be honest i don't know if they are effective or not.
.... actually, after writing all this... maybe it's better in the begging of each volume write in bue "Volume 1 - start" (or other better thing -,-) and if the volume is already finished write in read "Volume 1 - Finished" and if the volume is still being translated write in yellow "On-Going".
More examples (because why not :D )I do realized that i have made some mistakes in the images. :p but it was just to get my point across so don't mind them xD
I do like the last one more and think it's more effective. But what's bothering me is the colors. Since your site only uses the color blue. Using red and yellow probably will look "ugly" :( But hey, is just a suggestion so don't mind the problems. Maybe you can use something of what i just said... or you guys already have something in mind and all this is useless -,-''
