There was a controversy regarding the author as it seems he based the MC as a Soldier participating in the Nanking massacre. The Novel is on a break in Japan, the anime seems to be cancelled and Sam removed all 3 Volumes (after he completted the third one) to be on the safe site as he can not be sure what happens with the license. If you search this Forum you will find threads which go a lil more into detail.
