(NGNL doesn't seem to be my bag; prefer older characters / character designs; suppose I could just ignore the art and read the text; Ryou's Work is Never Done is another one I'm kind of avoiding, especially based on impressions, though the Shogi element could be intriguing).

For the record, I'd love Lazy Dungeon Master as well, someone mentioned it somewhere in this thread. It's by Overlap, and we already have Arifureta, Faraway Paladin, Grimgar, and I think one or two more. :)

@Terrence I just finished Yuuji's backstory in the Labyrinth of Grisaia, and that's probably affecting my thinking, but if that concept was done right, it could be amazing. I'm probably thinking or wanting something far more serious than what it is though.

Still wondering when is Mushoku Tensei gonna be licensed... I mean, it's like the highest rated isekai ever (in Japan at least), but somehow Death March, So I'm a Spider and That Time I Reincarnated into a Slime got licensed earlier. It doesn't make sense to me, even though the manga has already been licensed, so it can't be some weird stance like "we don't like our MC to be a little kid having the mind of a 30 year old lusting after childs" since the manga is already out...

@paulnamida Don't forget that licensing is a two-way street; there needs to be both someone interested in localizing on the English side, and someone willing to play ball on the Japanese side. I'm sure the English side is very aware of the interest in Mushoku Tensei, but perhaps the license holders have been difficult or unresponsive.

I'm having a blast with yume nikki and Ao oni since it was a good breather for me to deviate from the conventional light novel newfangled tropes,therein i would love j-novel to take another bet with licensing more books of this caliber (Horror with a twist of mystery),and the foremost two candidates that i would like to see are:THE WITCH’S HOUSE – DIARY OF ELLEN/ALICE MARE,apparently,said novels had a very positive feedback on amazon,so yeah please bestow upon my request a modicum of consideration onigaishimasu!(Bows frantically)

ALICE MAREAlways welcome to some horror recs (I hope J-Novel folks are receptive to them too). I'll take a look at these later. Actually, is Alice Mare based on an Indie game? That's on STEAM. (Looked up the other one; it also is based on the game The Witch's House).

I'm going to be definitely downloading the two horror novels with premium creds.
I've mentioned some before, but I want:
Shiki - One of the best classic horror stories in anime form. The book has gotta be interesting.
Danganronpa Zero - I believe this is two novels. It's a pretty important story that I don't think has been told in English officially. Others have also recommended the Kirigiri novels.
Shin Sekai No Yori - I've heard the anime and the books diverge a good deal. The manga is out in English, but I think I would prefer to read the books.
