That's definitely a lot. I don't come up with wishlists for requesting light novels. Rather, I use LNDB or Amazon Japan's light novel section to see which books are quite popular under their respective label.

@terrence I looked at Book Walker, what's the difference between the brand and the publisher?

Label / Brand is the label that something is published under. If you check Bookwalker JP book listings, and then have Google Translate the page, you can find the label (above the publisher in book details). You wouldn't expect a girl audience manga to be in the same label / branding as an adult male manga, so it's a similar principle with light novels. That's how I understand it at least. Multiple labels can have a single publisher though; Kadokawa has so many labels.

I don't know specifically what each label is, but you can guess from the content. Like, Novel Zero works tend to be adult focused Kadokawa stuff.

I am only interested in this one cuz it's been on the top selling novel list (I wonder how it works)

Ryuuoh No Oshigoto" made sense considering how it's quite popular in Japan and it won Kono Light Novel Ga Sugoi! twice AND there's also an anime.

"Combat Butler And Automaton Waitress" was also on Kono Light Novel Ga Sugoi! BTW

                I got a wishlist too.
It's in .txt file categorized based on the company (and sometimes the labels)

My wishlist on Bookwalker is over 600 books long. =P

It maxes out at 1000 (or was it 999?)
I had to go through moving everything in English to Global (as they have separate wishlists) and making sure I only had one volume per series.

I don't think I've recommended it, or at least it's been a while, but the Human Wolf Game series would be a nice one to get around Halloween time some year.

I believe it is a death game series.

Interesting. It'd be nice to see some dark fantasy licensed, like "Isekai Goumon Hime"

even though its an isekai, I love Saki Ukai's artwork, its beautiful.

@xftg123 Yeah, it's quite the story, I also like the manga. When it comes to dark fantasy novels, my favorites are about the MC participating in wars, on a quest for vengeance, or is against the world (almost everyone is an enemy).
Here's a list of some novels I've read:

                              • Yuusha, Aruiwa Bakemono to Yobareta Shoujo
                              • The Girl Who Ate a Death God
                              • The Girl Who Bore the Flame Ring
                              • Dungeon Seeker
                              • Nidome no Yuusha
                              • To Deprive a Deprived Person
                              • Summoned Slaughterer

Also for anyone interested, here's some light novel suggestions about reincarnating in otome games, but the story turns dark.

Interesting. Also, another novel that'd be an excellent dark fantasy license would be "Kuro No Maou"

The first series I read by Hakomari's author, Eiji Mikage.

                                  Well, it's by Dengeki Bunko

However, he has a new series published by Kodansha Taiga:
                                  Satsujinki Tantei no Netsuzou Bigaku

Well, I think I hardly suggested fantasy novel...hmmm

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha is one of the few fantasy titles I am really interested in

I think I have a few novel I am interested in from Hobby Japan...
                                  Let's see...Ah

Ore no Real to Netgame ga Love Come ni Shinshokusare Hajimete Yabai
                                  8 Volumes (Completed)

                                  The premise is simple.
Sagimiya Keita is a heavy MMORPG gamer and he's in 6 player female-only guild, which somehow has one male character.
So, in offline meetings, he plays the role of the “The Knight-sama”, the only male character of the guild.
However, the thing is his in-game account is a girl and he's just coerced into doing this.

                                  Edit:
Satsujinki Tantei no Netsuzou Bigaku's synopsis
A body with a missing foot and a skinned off face—indicating it is a murder by the "Masquerade serial killer"—is discover. The young female detective Yuri Uguisu requests the help of Higano Seiren, a psychiatrist who helps out the police with tricky cases.
As they receive the testimony of the victim Reina Myouko's close ones—her dad, her fiance and her lover, they realize how contrasting people's impressions of her are.
And on top of all that an eye witness claiming they saw Reina after her time of death comes forward.

This is an interesting title since the original novel is basically written like a stage play. Not sure how that would do, though I definitely would like to see it come over as well. I believe the main manga is available digitally in English on Bookwalker.

@bloodygaikotsu Like I said, it's not really a LN O.o But thanks for the heads up, now even more stuff to buy >_>

Regarding mangas adapting LNs, I'm usually pretty lukewarm on them as well, I do check them out though. The ones I've liked enough to buy are Mushoku Tensei, Overlord, and SAO:Progressive. All 3 are mainly because I really like the art styles, though SAO:P also uses Asuna's POV a lot more than the novels do, and Argo has a hugely increased role, both factors that make me like the manga more than the novels.

I am not really against adaptations but most of these manga adaptations end up being just cheap promotion of the original.
Some only cover a small part of the novels.
Yeah, I've seen nice adaptations but that's just way too small percentage to start care about them.
(Like I read that Ryuuou no Oshigoto! author was pleased by the recent volume of the manga adaptation as they started to take more liberties to fit the manga format, which is what I seek in adaptations in general.)
