@LegitPancake In addition to the official synopsis, the author directly confirmed Vol 12's the end of the light novel version on their webnovel account.

The WN version will still be ongoing, and looks to be moving into its 2nd part soon.

Even if this ended I still think it would be a great light novel for them pickup and do and we wouldn’t have to wait for the Author to release the next novel for it because it complete.

Oh someone already suggested this !! I really really REALLY wanted for this light novel to have an official English translation!! I would definitely buy all of the volumes (as ebooks) once they are available in English!

A year has passed since I first read it and I still want this to be licensed

So I just realized the web novel is still ongoing, with several chapters being released each week or so. I wonder what sort of conclusion the LN had then, or if the story significantly branched away from the WN. Or worst case, it was axed without a conclusion, though I doubt that is the case. Hopefully the author was given sufficient warning that it was to conclude.

I have read translations of the web novel. While this series suffers from aspects of Light Novel Syndrome its strength is is characterisation. Characters are better formed and more interesting. Each volume starts and finishes a discreet storyline or subplot. Better than some more famous light novels.

Looking at this, I realize I was reading either the scanlation or fan TL at one time, and enjoyed it.
Glad for the head's-up in re the anime...and wouldn't mind an official TL of the source materials at all! -

Oh I definitely would love to pick up and read this one. I've enjoyed the manga quite a lot. One thing that always bugged me about it, at least in the early chapters, is how the MC gives his impression that the female hero that was summoned with him as being this perfect person, and when they get to the new world, she reveals herself to be more, well, normal I guess instead of this delicate flower that he envisioned. So then he just kinda grunts about it all the time and I'm left think "What an asshole. She don't gotta cowtow to you" I realize I'm almost definetly overthinking it, but that was the impression I got. Could be based on how it was translated , I dunno.
Once thing I did love about this series though, was the Captain. The Captain rules. I like how just about everyone in the world is terrified of the Captain Rose. Cracks me up.

Yeah. it sure does list both the LN and Manga, with August 2022 release dates.
