Since we were already talking about So Cute in this thread I just wanted to mention that if you liked So Cute, or if you like VERY VERY CALMING shoujo manga you should read Love at Fourteen.

I mention that because I finally sat down to read Vol 6 and it was brilliant.

Even just looking at the front and back covers just makes me take on a more relaxed demeanor:

      spoiler

I could use some very relaxing Light novels to read as well.

Sorry but J-Novel Club does not publicly comment on any potential licensing decision or acquisitions.

Read Tohyo Game Volume 3 today. Eh. I guess it was ok, though the overall outcome was predictable even if the path to get there was shaky. I still like the first volume best.

Read the 5 cms per second manga yesterday. ( Fun fact : I accidently bought the manga thinking it was the LN. Turns out there isn't even a LN of 5cm per second, only an unlicensed short novel).

            spoiler

Couldn't fall asleep the whole night and when I did fall asleep, I had freaking nightmares. I should stop getting attached to characters so much... Now I need something to heal my broken heart, so I'll read isekai smartphone.

I don't really like VRMMO settings but thanks anyway(Also I am already reading SAO novels, I think that is enough VRMMO for me). And regarding Grimgar, I have seen the anime (and read some parts of the LN) so I know what you are implying. That is depressing as well but it didn't affect me as much. "5 cms per second" manga/anime and "Hakomari" light novels has seriously traumatized me.

Hmm, such a huge list... and mostly harem ecchi.

A lot of vrmmo, school life etc.

It started with sekirei and then Uma no Misaki...

                      I'm reading:

My Lesbian Experience With Loneliness (Don't sleep on this if you aren't LGBT; I'm not, and I still find some poignant stuff about depression and anxiety to take away from the non-fiction narrative).

Goodnight PunPun V4 (library loan; I just can't get into it; not in the mood for super depressing and bleak slow narratives right now; I'm in a "thought" section with PunPun's first person perspective).

I also tried Bunny Drop and Yotsuba+, but those aren't really my bag. Yotsuba not as funny as Azumanga Daiou to me (maybe it's the longer format, maybe it's the more innocent plot?). =(

Besides that, focused on my J-Novel novels, Sound Euphonium novel (Never watched the show), and potentially starting Mardock Scramble.

                          Here's a grab-bag of stuff I read semi-regularly:

                          Jojolion
                          One Piece
                          Skip Beat
                          Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun
                          Horimiya
                          House of the Sun
                          The Full-Time Wife Escapist
                          Chihayafuru
                          Kiss Him, Not Me
                          Barakamon
                          Handa-kun

Stuff that I love but need to catch up on:

                          Berserk
                          Vinland Saga
                          A Bride's Story
                          The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service
                          Gambling Apocalypse Kaiji
                          Yotsuba&

And some of my favourite manga:

All of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure but especially Steel Ball Run
                          Akira
                          Ghost in the Shell
                          Fist of the North Star
                          Blame
                          Monster
                          The Story of Saiunkoku
                          Mushishi
                          Gokusen

I've been meaning to start reading One Punch Man and Vagabond on my husband's recommendation for ages now but somehow never get round to it.

@Terrence oh boy I know what you mean, I have to pay car insurance plus phone bill plus monthly subs which adds up to like 200$+ monthly. So I have no money to spend on things I want unless they are on sale which is like never the case. Nothing compared to my parents who pay like 3k$ a month lol I shouldn't be complaining tbh.

Saekano, Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko!, Haganai, Shishunki Bitter Change and Dungeon Meshi the last one surprised me quite a lot as it turned out to be a quite funny story.

Yeah, I buy them on Bookwalker - they usually have a money off voucher each month so I pick up a lot of my regular manga reads there. Volume 1 is cheap as well, which is how I came across the series in the first place.

The reason it's a catch up is because I've been buying the physical, hardback volumes (along with Vinland Saga) and it's expensive so I tend to only pick a volume up when I've got a voucher or ask for a volume as a present. I really do love what I've read so far though and the artwork is so pretty! I'm a sucker for detailed artwork and unique art styles. :)

I really am glad this is out. I related to a lot of the depression and anxiety parts of the manga. There is a follow up series that details how the author copes with her anxieties and I hope Seven Seas picks this up too.

Is Die Wergelder worth looking into? The first volume isn't too bad a buy digital (physical was 20 bucks though; at that price, I'm out with virtually everything but an amazing looking hardcover with full color portraits).

I am always looking for manga a bit off the board, maybe bigger in page size but smaller in series length (something like Doubt).

Saw at my B+N, and am curious about:

                                        Land of the Lustrous

The Life-Changing Manga of Tidying Up (rented from the library).

                                        Delicious in Dungeon

Magical Girl Site / Magical Girl Apocalypse

                                        Galko-Chan

There's a Yen Press sale going on at B+N, Buy 2 get 1 Free.

Any denser manga or unique LNs worth getting?

                                          I've got:

                                          Psycome 2
                                          Psycome 3

And I need a third book. I could always get Azumanga Daioh for my collection, but it is one I've been able to rent from the library.

Also, I don't think Magical Raising Project is in the sale online. Goblin Slayer 3 is a definite no in the sale too. At least there's
Overlord 1-4, Kieli, and Book Girl available.
