The publisher recently did an overhaul/update to their "special site" for the series so I think an anime announcement might be incoming. They also released a commercial for the LN last month. Seems like Micro Magazine is really pushing the series hard lately.

@Aruseus493 Hope this one gets picked up by someone for English localization at that time too. However, I don't think J-Novel has gotten any micro-mag titles yet. If I remember correctly they were turned down for Sword-Dad because it was digital only to start out and Micromagazine wasn't interested in digital only. Same here would likely happen since from what we know it would have to sell well to guarantee a printed version :(

Upvoting. This novel is really fun to read. I totally love the whole concept with the VRMMORPG, it's totally interesting (gaming really is the best, next to reading books of course)!

If you like the artist of this series, Fuzichoco, Playing Grounded Puzzles is offering two puzzles with her art on them you can buy during their Kickstarter until May 30; the one for this Kickstarter is an original work Fuzichoco did for them. The goal has already been met btw but there is a stretch goal. I've backed three of her puzzles in a previous Kickstarter and they're all great; they decorate my bedroom. There's other puzzles you can buy by other artists too.

Since J-Novel Club also publishes their light novels in printed form by now (correct me, if I’m wrong), won’t there be a higher chance for a licensing relationship with Micro Magazine? I would absolutely love to get the premium ebook version of this novel!!!

If I now think about it, I would like this novel much, much more, if the MC's main goal wouldn't be to find a way to turn himself back into a guy... I also don't really like it, that although he is now a pretty girl, he persistently stays male on the inside. I would have found it much better, if he really would turn into a girl over the time (like it is in most stories with such a special setting), since his body is completly female now. In this aspect I like 'A Wild Last Boss Appeared' more. The MC has fun being in his avatars body and although he still thinks of himself as a (former) male, he doesn't have the typical male reactions anymore and is quite fine with that. And there isn't so much yuri like in 'She Professed Herself the Pupil of the Wiseman' (although it isn't lewd, just intended).
Anyway, besides this little issue I still totally like this novel and would absolutely buy it, if J-Novel Club licenses it (but I really needed to say that only once at least)! -

Love how she switches clothing almost every volume like Cardcaptor Sakura.

I love characters that switch clothes. Too many series just suffer from same outfit syndrome. It's boring and less appealing to the viewer's eyes.

I finaly got around to try that series, and it was rather desapointing, the characters and worldbuilding were kinda generic, and the gender bender part isn't used much aside from the MC lying about his identity because he is ashame to have turn into a girl and some "hilarious" jokes.
Where I stop it had become a generic op cute girl do cute things around the world while losely following some plot line.Overall it's kinda similar to "A wild last boss appeared" (mostly the setting and beginning) but way less interesting.
Also the MC is a pedo, his idea woman is 12yo.
