Hi there,
I've noticed that recently the order of the chapters in the recent releases list of the app are messed up. Now for example it shows me Amagi, Grimgar and then Arifureta part 1. Part 1 was released last week, while part 2 is released this week, but they swapped places in the recents list. This happens for more releases, and really throw off people like me who mostly use the recents list to find new chapters to read.
I hope you guys can fix that!

I agree it can add unnecessary confusion and means I have to double check a significant portion of the list of what has been released to ensure I don't accidentally skip or miss a part.

Just realised there's an actual topic for this, so moving my post over here to keep things all in one place:
I have a Moto G5 Plus with Android 7.0, but I was having so many issues with the beta version of the app that I had to uninstall it and go back to the previous one.

Some images wouldn't load (this seems to be well known)

Some entire parts wouldn't load, just hanging at the spinning circle (not even "paginating splines" showed up; this happened to For My Daughter 7.7 and Realist Hero 7.6, I believe)

The percentage complete is wildly inaccurate (15% complete after one page, then 23%, then 26%, then 28%, then 28%, then 31%... The numbers are meaningless. Didn't bother testing without pagination because I hate reading without pagination)
It's hard to overstate how frustrating that last one was. All of these issues were solved by reverting to the normal version.
Also, not sure why, but none of the parts that I read in the beta version were marked as read after reverting to the old version, but the parts that I read online during that period were marked read, and all had been marked read in the beta version. Was the reading percentage just stored locally and never synced back upstream or something?

Hi. When trying to read some LN parts it seem to don´t be able to load the entire part, and show just white. I use the beta app, and my cellphone it´s an Huawei P20

Having an issue with the newest update from Google Play (2.0.5). I cannot load a chapter with images outside of using simple mode (I prefer using pagination over vertical scrolling). The app simply keeps attempting to download and never gets fully loaded (it's even crashed a couple of times). The main cause seems to be images, as I can get text to load; however text loading is also super slow, even on wifi, which is leading me to believe that it is timing out on loading images.
I'm on a Nexus 6P running Android 8.1.0

Just downloaded the new update on the App Store and am experiencing extremely frequent crashes. iPhone X on 11.3.1. Every time I press "Apply" when changing settings, it's a guaranteed crash. In the last 15 minutes of using the app, it crashed once as soon as a chapter loaded and twice while reading.

@dunkston crashes? Uh oh.
I’ll see if I can see any crash reports. It’s always when reading a part and not the menus, yes? -
@bellsworth46 are you maybe confusing loading with pagination?
The three dots in the bottom are pagination thinking not loading from the internet. If the initial loading swirl disappears then the text is fully loaded.
Can you say which part specifically is causing problems?

@sam-pinansky The Magic in This Other World Is Too Far Behind! Vol 6 Part 6. Steps to reproduce: Open the app > Tap on Series > Either Search or scroll through the list to find the series > Tap on the part > Resume? > Yes > Crash. Reinstalling the app did not fix the issue. If it helps, the first time I tried changing to dark mode, a yellow tint appeared over the page and it crashed. The same tint appears before most crashes now too.
Edit: After clicking No on Resume?, the crashes appear to stop, even after resuming again later. Might have to do with the fact that I started reading this part on the previous version.
Edit 2: It happens whenever I'm past 70% on The Magic in This Other World is Too Far Behind! Vol 6 Part 6

Although I dunno that seems unlikely to cause a crash but, glad it's working for you? -
@sam-pinansky Sorry to bother you so much with this, but it seems it crashes whenever I pass 70% in that part.

@dunkston Thanks for the info, I will go and investigate. For now hopefully you can finis it using simple mode.

Small update on the issues I mentioned earlier:
- Problems with images went away
- The app fills whole screen with dark-blue now when loading (including useless loading on pull-to-refresh). It's really annoying, won't be surprised if someone gets photosensitive epilepsy seizure.
- The progress tracker is still pretty slow and it seems to cause some weird bugs: open a part in simple mode -> scroll quite a bit -> press back (it won't work for a while as I mentioned before) -> wait for things to work and get to the menu -> congrats, interface is fully non-responsive

Out of curiosity: did you have to log in again after reinstalling?
iOS backs up some data to cloud and I'm not sure if reinstalling the app would help to get rid of old data. -

@Sam-Pinansky so I've had the same problem as @dunkston where when trying to resume it would crash. It also has problems with the "thinking" part of pagination, esp. once it hits an image, which it can't seem to decide how to load the image (both in vertical scroll and pagination). Overall, it seems that images when not in simple mode are my problem, as I have been unable to load any of the first 5 parts of Demon King Daimaou (each part has at least 1 image) outside of simple mode, but was able to load part 12 of Dendrogram 7 without issues (albeit the pagination being slow to calculate, but my guess is that if I was reading it I wouldn't have quite as many issues; it's still a lot slower than it was before, though). This leads me to believe that the app, when resuming a chapter with an image, hits the image, can't figure out how to paginate it, and then hangs and may crash (I've only really let it crash once, as I can back out while loading still).

I seem to have a 1 in 10 chance of actually getting to a part in the app. I generally get stuck at Repaginating Splines unless I turn on the Simple Reader. NBD but I figure it might help folks to know that the Simple Reader gets you past the issues

I noticed with the latest update that we cannot rotate our phones to landscape mode and we're forced to portrait mode.
I realized that I am in a unique situation, but my phone has a half screen glitch problem similarily to this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PU8YK9rVlasUp until this point, I have been able to read my favorite light novels on the app by rotating the screen to landscape mode. Now that I am forced into portrait mode with the latest update, I am unable to read from the app.
Like I said earlier, I understand that my situation is unique, but I don't see why landscape mode was removed from the app. Surely we have a few users that prefer to read in this mode? Not only that, but I doubt it's much trouble to have in the app considering we've always been able to read in portrait mode until now.

All Arifureta chapters have completely disappeared from the beta app except part 1 of vol 1.
Edit: the latest chapter appears to be missing from the main website as well.
Edit 2: Arifureta is back on the app, the latest chapter is still missing.
