I liked the Grimgar anime but having to binge 10 volumes in a month is a daunting task with my busy schedule.

Grimgar is very worth it, if you can fit it in. Worst case, get as far as you can and buy the rest of the books you couldn't read :o

I read all the Grimgar books far apart, and I can't remember a lot of the specifics (similar for Realist Hero too). They may be better to binge honestly. I might really use this catchup.

I recall Sam mentioning those 2 series in another topic for July's catchup. But I guess I'll wait until it is official with a news in the homepage. Sam is probably busy with AX right now.

As for the titles on catchup, I'm all caught up with Realist Hero. Maybe I'll give a try to Grimgar, but it's gonna be hard to catch up with 10 volumes. I had also planned to get Arifureta (+ Zero) but I decided to wait since with all the new AX titles, with 4 parts each, it's gonna take some time to read them all.

I own Realist & was planning to reread the premium epubs soon, with Grimgar unlocked I think I'll reread it first instead as I still haven't got around to buying it.

I like Grimgar a lot, wish I could get a autograph from the author at AX

Now I really have to resist reading more Grimgar. I was reading as the physical books came out, but that means I'm only on 4...

Question about the physical books since I only ever bought two from amazon and they were from YP(Spice and wolf LN volume 6 and manga volume 7 was a mistake 😢 for the manga at least). Either way my question is; Does the Grimgar LNs come wrapped in see through wrapping plastic? I’m not going to actually read them, since I did already digitally. I just love Grimgar so much I’d love to buy the physical book just to look at next to my PS4 or next to my desktop. I hate when pages get dusty so I would keep em untouched if they do come wrapped up. Also I can’t remember how the YP books came, it was a while ago.

@hyferzftw I don't believe any light novels come plastic wrapped by default.

@hyferzftw They don't, at least not from Amazon. The only books I've gotten from them that was shrink-wrapped are manga with particularly risque contents.

Added August 2018 titles: Mixed Bathing in Another Dimension & My Big Sister Lives in a Fantasy World.

I wasn't expecting to see a complete series listed for catchup.

Nice. I haven't finished Big Sis yet. Maybe I'll get to that this month (going to be a lot of series to finish for September 15th I think though).

I’m surprised Second Path has never had a catch-up month yet. Though I guess since it’s just 2 volumes and we have no news on volume 3, there’s not much to ā€œcatch upā€ to haha.

I'm going to read Mixed Bathing but I'm unsure about big sister because from what I heard I won't like the ending. Do you guys think it's still worth reading?

I bought the first four or five and read the rest on prepubs as I'm a premium.

I think they're fun, but yeah, the end is a bit eh. I think unless you can't turn your brain off on some bits, skip it. It has some great bits, but the end story is just annoying, if not as annoying as Demon King Daimou.

I liked Big Sister quite a bit, anyone who hasn’t read that should check it out.

I haven’t read Mixed Bathing yet, so I’ll probably try to get to that. I’ve been surprised at some of the positive reviews, so I’ll go in with an open mind.

@lazyproblems Yeah, I've read quite a lot of positive reviews about it too. The only negative thing I've read about is that the author is really slow in getting new volumes out.
