"J’étais une grande personne" could hints at the light novel version of Sweet Reincarnation, it would explain the use of french for the hint since it's a story about pastry and cuisine and some of the names are french.
Plus "J’étais une grande personnel" can mean "I was a great person" or "I was an adult" and Pas was both a world-class chef even describe (at least in the WN) as a gifted by god, and he also used to be an adult but is now a child. -

@Raitoiro “J‘étais une grande personne” could also very well mean Isekai Yakkyoku. The protagonist was an adult when he died from overworking and got reincarnated as a child in a medieval fantasy world mainly based on France. And he was a renowned doctor in his previous life.

"When the magic fades..." could mean a J-Novel Club Heart title, specifically The Redemption of the Blue Rose Princess. The heroine, a queen is madly in love with her husband the king and sees him and all what he does through rose colored glasses. Only right before her cruel death, she realizes he did never loved her and even had an affair the whole time. Her whole world collapses after that realization. The magic of love faded, it was never there in the first place...
On another thought, "J'étais une grande personne" could also mean Musketeer Rouge. Although the heroine doesn't know it at first, she was/is originally of pretty high status. And the world is also loosely based on a medieval France too. -
It’s possible that “When the magic fades...” could refer to Legend, where a soul from another world is summoned to keep certain magic from being lost entirely. The more I think about the hint, the more convincing I find the romance interpretation, but I enjoy guessing.

It's a lot of fun.
And usually I guess them when I've just about given up (I guessed the zombie one on Justus' Discord after someone told me itchy tasty was a Resident Evil thing + cause I recalled time being in the title + the whole "when the magic fades" being the main character's fantasy world fading to stark reality when taking off the VR set [but I thought for sure I was wrong], and JNC Discord I guessed Welcome to Japan Ms Elf cause Abe's solution to the birthrate / unmarried men / population issue would be importing women from a fantasy world).
The more cryptic the better. Then you can wow at the solution. But too hard and you get no guesses. All things in balance. x)
