uhm I only have paypal no card..... do I need a card to become a member/premium member..... because I really really want to support the site but my country is on the lockdown......

it seems so.. here in Mexico, we have a bank that opens up savings accounts with Mx$50, and even in lockdown, the banks are still operating. I'd suggest looking for a way to get a debit card, but that's just my opinion
I wanted to have a witty signature once I saw some of the ones some guys on the Bookworm forums had but None of the ones I thought felt witty enough...

@lunareika01 You can have PayPal send you a check with the minimum to open a bank account, and then transfer money from PayPal to the bank to cover the subscription. The biggest caveats would be the delay (up to six weeks just to get the check) and the fees (for the check and maybe for non-US currency). You might be able to get a card directly from PayPal, but the instructions I found were all US-centric, so I’m not sure about that.

Usually, for a complete Paypal account, you do require a bank account and a card to be associated with it (I know, I have a Paypal that I use to buy on Bookwalker). but it will, of course, depend on your banking institution. just transfer the funds to your bank, as @EmpactWB said, there might be pretty big delays though... -

I think you can open pay pal credit cards. I don't know if there are any restrictions in the country you are from. Also what works on a lot of websites is you can buy a visa/mastercard gift card online and use that as a credit card. Not 100% sure if either will work here, but you could look into it.

I use a prepaid FX card called Revolut for my sub as the exchange rate is much better than my bank and has no transaction fees.
