I'm also having trouble with this. I tried subscribing to the yearly premium membership and received an error which said the Coupon is not valid for that plan.

@Gin-san227 That's an error from our credit card provider about your card. It's possible that you are trying to use a debit card or something that doesn't support subscription services that charge monthly.
We need a valid form of payment even if it's a free trial, sorry!

@Melicans Free Trial is only good for normal membership or normal annual membership!
You can always upgrade to premium membership later if you want.
But we can't exactly give out 3 free ebooks to everyone... which is what a 3 month free trial of a premium membership would mean!

@Sam-Pinansky If I wanted to upgrade to premium from the free trial is there a discount or will I immediately be charged the 10$?

@Charles-Schuster If you want to upgrade during your free trial, you'll have to pay normal price. Technically you get a prorate for the amount of money you paid for the current remaining subscription, but if you are in a free trial that amount is $0.
If we offer coupons or incentives to upgrade to premium, it'll probably come in the form of either extra bonus credits for signing up or a fixed percentage off the initial month's price, not free trials.
