@aruseus493 Completely forgot about it, even though I saw it yesterday on Google Books.

      My bad.

I don't know much about publishing or licensing internationally but I don't see why they would give a title to JNC unless they were struggling or its benefits them in some way since they can publish through YP. Unless they do something like seven seas does and YP does the physical release while JNC does the digital release. In that case they make JNC do all the work and they get to benefit and not having to pay for the license for the digital version. I wonder if it's cheaper to license digital version from Japan or getting JNC translation for a physical release. The whole question makes me think about Sony working with marvel to start their spider-man movie series.

@rahul-balaggan unfortunately I said no :( but I agree with you. There are so many more LNS I would love to get frequently translated the legit way so we can support the authors.

@hyferzftw absolutely 100% agree. I’d much rather pay for an LN that I know supports the author in someway. I’ve had to read some fan translations And the quality and consistency between each volume is usually terrible.

I feel they might, but maybe with less popular, less priority based series. Niche stuff? I dunno, but you can hope t some extent right?

Remember, as with YenPress they can always opt to "buy them out".

Pretty damn spot on too, not just because of the timing.
