Isn't Media Factory a Kadokawa company? So wouldn't it be hard to get it licensed thru J-Novel?
I could of sworn Yen Press had Kadokawa locked down. Would love to get it form here though.

@mercotaku Actually according to the list, Yen Press hasn’t licensed from the label of MF Books, only Seven Seas and One Peace Books have, but Yen Press has licensed from other labels at Media Factory (indeed a Kadokawa subsidiary). JNC has never licensed a brand new LN or one with an upcoming or ongoing anime from Kado, as JNC doesn’t print everything and there’s at least a 6 month gap in between ebooks and paperbacks.

Came here to check to ensure this was suggested. Started with the anime and went over to the web novel. Would love if they picked this up! Another vote.

It reached vol.19 in Japan , I've been reading the fan translation of the web-novel up to about vol.9 but the translation-quality is so-so , still very interesting novel.
I'd definitely buy it from kindleStore if it were available. Hope to see it soon licensed in english.

just watched the first 2 episodes of the Anime, not great, but not bad. A couple of interesting/different (at least to me) angles. The "magical mentor"

                  spoiler

                  and unlike than other isekai

                  spoiler

there are hints of the protagonist being OP in the future (and possibly having a harem?) but also that he uses his powers in pragmatic ways to do work

s0 if it got licensed as a LN, I'd give it a try

                  I read banned books

I've read a good bit of the manga, but personally I'd love to try the light novel version. The is great and I'm sure the novel would show more light on the little things. Awesome series, this definitely had my vote.

If its possible, I'd read the LN of it.

Original Post: I'd throw my hat (and premium credits) in for this one. There aren't enough LNs in English that include political situations and other such stuff. With 19 volumes and an anime this one seems like a good addition if we can get it (plus the LN is much better than the anime thus far).

Edit: I'm changing my mind on this one after reading through some of it. The overall concept is fine, but both the author and his execution of it is sub-standard.

                        1. This author is more repetitive than any I have seen before. He will mention the same thing again and again and again and again in the same chapter, and then keep mentioning the same thing again and again in future chapters because you might have forgot it? Sometimes these exact repeats are no more than a dozen sentences apart. And in regards to a certain character he meets in the book it gets even worse because the character is basically the ideal Japanese woman, yet for some reason he is absolutely uninterested in her. And you hear about it page after page after page for the couple volume arc. By the time it is over there's a pile of bloody hamburger in the middle of the road that is large enough to have been a horse...but it's been beaten so badly no one can tell what it originally was.

                        2. This author does a lot of instant rehashing. So a couple characters say something to each other, and then the next sentence is a narrator explanation of that same interaction. I guess you need that explanation because you couldn't tell people talked to each other and the fact one of them was blushing from the exchange meant she was embarrassed?

                        3. Supposed Japanese reincarnation isn't consistent. It's only used for food and for one girl. In no other place does this so-called 25 year old Japanese reincarnation ever act Japanese. In fact this supposed Japanese reincarnation does decidedly non-Japanese things like suddenly kissing someone he hasn't even held hands with yet while in the presence of someone else, then doing it to someone else for the sake of "equality," and not only is he not embarrassed doing those things (which any Japanese male wouldn't even do with his actual wife of decades in public) but he isn't even embarrassed about being seen by outsiders while doing it. How is this a Japanese reincarnation? Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention this basically 35 year old person by novel time doesn't seem to look at any actual women, and seems to have no feelings of embarrassment or inner conflict about the fact his is a polygamist pedophile at this point in time. Again...how is this a Japanese reincarnation?

                        4. No one questions him. He's a teen from the boonies. In fact those boonies are so far in the boonies that other areas of the boonies even call where he grew up the boonies compared to themselves. Yet he has knowledge no one else does. He knows what things are that no one has ever seen before and aren't even recorded in books. Not only that, but he knows how to take those things from raw form to create processed goods and what to do with them. And he can make seasonings and stuff no one has ever heard of or tasted before. Yet no one questions him on how he knows these things. In fact the only thing that ever seems to be a surprise to those interacting with him are things like the cost of the ingredients to make these miracle products.

TDLR - this author is below the mediocre level, this work will drive the assigned translator nuts with all the repetitive and rehashed parts to convert, and this work will be a huge burden on the assigned editor to trim down the bloat and absolute nonsense of things that don't make sense into something readable for a Western audience.

Been reading fan translation of the manga for a while, its a rather unremarkable story.

After (forcing myself to watch) 5 episodes I can say the anime is really bad. They are skipping a ton of things, both explanations and events; at least based on what I read in the WN/manga. The story has been butchered and it's been turned into a generic isekai harem anime with no other content (just like Ragnarok's adaptation).

Skimmed the light (if you can reading 12 volumes skimming), and though it shares traits with light novel series that I enjoy, Death March, Smartphone, Magi's Grandson etc, it just appears to be a pale imitation.
I reached the 12th volume and I must admit, I spent a lot of time wanting to skip parts.
There is no re-readable factors in the series that I can see sadly. The manga was okay, which matches the tone of the first few volumes, and the anime has changed aspects, including the order of events.
I was glad that in the latest episode they kept the "It is hard to a hero or dragon slayer, but you know that feeling to, as a Saint?" scene. It is the one redeeming and memorable scene which I wish more Isekai based novels and mangas added.

                                Author of Praetor's Blood.

Read the first few chapters of the web novel and have to say it's pretty interesting hope JNC picks it up.

I've read the fan translation of the web novel. It's average up to where the anime stopped. After that it turns boring, as if the author ran out of ideas. I think this series would get lost among the choices we have here.

I would add this to my library in an instant if JNovel started releasing it. Been following the LN and WN and enjoyed the Anime.

I've just read the fan TL of this. I'd reckon it would be a decent licence in the mood of smartphone for some.company to pick up.

I like the girls in this, they have different personalities to each other at least...
