Name: Eiyū-ō, bu o kiwameru tame tensei su ~ soshite, sekai saikyō no minarai kishi ♀~ (The Hero King reincarnates to polish his skill to the limit and becomes the strongest knight in training in the world ♀-)
      alt text
      Publisher: HJ Bunko (Hobby Japan)
      Volume: November 30, 2019 - ongoing (2 volumes)
      Author: Hayaken
      Illustrator: Nagu

      Synopsis: (deepl translation)
Founding hero king (♂) → reincarnation → strongest knight apprentice (♀)!

With the blessing of a goddess, he became a "divine knight" and established a huge kingdom, the great hero king Inglis. He lived for his country and his people, and just before his death, he strongly desired to "live freely and master the way of war" in his next life. His wish was heard by the goddess, and Inglis reincarnated safely into the far future, but he was born the daughter of a famous knight's family! On top of that, at the age of 6, she was declared to be a knight with no talent! But-- "Rather convenient! It's not about getting ahead, it's about being on the front line and fighting!" Thus, the legend of the strongest beautiful girl Knight Apprentice begins!!!!!!

Reason: To be honest, I just stumbled across the first few manga chapters, and found the idea of a Hero-King who is tired of ruling being reborn as an overpowered girl entertaining enough to want to keep reading, so I looked into the source novel, and found that it is a very recent series. Judging by one of the illustrations from the first chapter of the manga, there may be yuri developments. Also, the series is from Hobby Japan, so there's a good chance it might be relatively easy for J-Novel to get their hands on.

The author's name looked familiar... turns out it's from the same author as Redefining the Meta at VRMMO Academy.

Which means JNC needs to get this before Sol Press does.

This is definately interesting to me. Waiting for the author brave enough to do a male to female reincarnation where the MC falls for a male rather than going the yuri route.

@jampodevral said in Eiyū-ō, bu o kiwameru tame tensei su ~ soshite, sekai saikyō no minarai kishi ♀~ (The Hero King reincarnates to polish his skill to the limit and becomes the strongest knight in training in the world ♀-):

Well is not exactly the same but in reverse. There is one person who was female turn male in their next life and one female who was male in her past life. Dunno about the status of the series. https://myanimelist.net/manga/16686/Bokura_no_Kiseki

Up to four release so far, looks like the story could develop in interesting ways and the artwork looks great.
                  Manga can be viewed here.
